Testo 176-H1 Temperature and Humidity Data Logger

The Testo 176-H1 Temperature and Humidity Data Logger is a great instrument for monitoring ambient conditions in a range of environments. Practical applications include detecting mould-friendly conditions in residential properties and ensuring that food and medicine is stored at the correct temperature.

An NTC temperature probe can be used to measure air temperature between -20˚C and 70˚C with ±0.2˚C accuracy and 0.1˚C resolution whilst a humidity sensor can be employed to measure relative humidity from 0 to 100% with a resolution of 0.1% RH. Please note that no probes are supplied as standard with the Testo 176-H1.

The Testo 176-H1 is useful for long-term monitoring thanks to its large internal memory which has enough room for 2 million measurement values. Otherwise, the user can view current readings directly on the large digital display. The user can adjust the measurement rate from once per day to once per second depending on practical requirements. The long-life battery lasts for eight years with typical use and data can be downloaded via a USB cable or SD card (not included).

An IP65 rating means that the Testo 176-H1 is suitable for a range of situations where contact with water is a possibility. A wall bracket is provided as standard so the user can fix the data logger in a suitable position and a supplied lock means that unauthorised access can be restricted. Batteries and a calibration protocol are also supplied as standard whilst free ComSoft software can be used for basic analysis and reporting.
