Testo 184-G1 Freight Temperature, Humidity and Shock Data Logger

The Testo 184-G1 Freight Temperature, Humidity and Shock Data Logger is a comprehensive measuring device that can be included with shipments of food and pharmaceuticals to make sure they are transported in the right climate and handled appropriately. The temperature range goes from -20˚C to 70˚C, the humidity range goes from 0 to 100% and the shock range goes from 0 to 27g so measurement is comprehensive. The user can set the measurement rate between 1min and 24h for both intensive and extensive monitoring.

Current readings are shown on the Testo 184-G1’s clear digital display and it also has LED alarms for when adjustable limit values are exceeded. The user has the option to set cumulative alarms and even set alarms to trigger according to mean kinetic temperature values. Every time an alarm is triggered, this is recorded to the monitor’s memory.

The Testo 184-G1 is suited to monitoring long-haul transits thanks to its large internal memory which has space for 64,000 readings for humidity and temperature as well as an additional 1,000 shock readings. The exchangeable battery can power the data logger for 120 days so it can operate independently throughout a transit.

The user can download a report on the transit via the Testo 184-G1’s universally compatible USB port which is protected by a cap when not in use. Reports are available in a PDF format so no specialist software is required and PDF forms are also used to configure the monitor before being dispatched. The configuration is very simple and easy for new users. The data logger meets HACCP standards for use in the food industry.
