Testo 184-T1 Freight Temperature Data Logger

The Testo 184-T1 Freight Temperature Data Logger is designed to be included with temperature-sensitive freight, for example in the pharmaceutical and food production industries. It is particularly useful for monitoring the cold chain from manufacturer to consumer. The sensor has a measurement range of -35˚C to 70˚C with ±0.5˚C accuracy and 0.1˚C resolution so it is suitable for most refrigerated and ambient environments.

Depending on the requirements of the cold chain, the measurement rate can be changed between once per minute and once per day and up to 16,000 readings can be stored on the Testo 184-T1’s internal memory so the user has a comprehensive picture of temperature conditions throughout transit. An LED alarm gives a visual warning when temperature limits are breeched and these instances are recorded to the internal memory. The monitor produces PDF results automatically and can even work with a Testo fast printer to produce an instant hard copy.

In order to configure the Testo 184-T1, the user simply needs to plug it into a PC using the USB connection where PDF files will allow configuration in a range of languages. No extra software needs to be installed and the configuration process is extremely straightforward. Data can be simply downloaded from the monitor using the same USB connection.

The Testo 184-T1 has a 90 day operating life which makes it suitable for long journeys and it has an IP67 ingress protection rating so is therefore highly robust for tricky conditions. It meets various standards including HACCP international certification, ISO9001:2008 and EN 12830 and has traceable temperature calibration certificate in accordance with ISO 17025.
