Testo 184-T4 Freight Temperature Data Logger

The Testo 184-T4 Freight Temperature Data Logger is designed to be included alongside temperature-sensitive shipments of food and medicine in order to certify that they have been kept at the right temperature throughout transit. It measures temperature between -80˚C and 70˚C meaning it is suitable for extremely cold transit and measurements are accurate to ±0.5˚C with resolution of 0.1˚C. The user can adjust the measurement rate between 1min and 24h in order to provide intensive or extensive monitoring.

The LED alarm can be set to flash when certain temperatures are exceeded, when the temperature is too high for a certain length of time, or when the mean kinetic temperature value is too high. Any instances where the alarm is triggered will be recorded in the final PDF report of the transit.

Up to 40,000 readings can be saved to the Testo 184-T4’s large internal memory and then downloaded in PDF format using the simple USB connection. The USB connector is protected by a cap when not in use and is universally compatible, meaning the data logger can be configured and checked with ease. No specialist software is required to download results or set up the monitor and the process is very straightforward.

The Testo 184-T4 has an IP67 ingress protection rating so the user can be sure that it will stand up to the challenges of transportation at very cool temperatures. The 100-day battery life is appropriate for the vast majority of cold-chain transfers and the exchangeable power source means the logger can be used again and again. The instrument complies with various standards including EN12380, HACCP regulations and ISO9001:2008.
