Designed for use in catering, the Testo 205 T-bar pH and Temperature Meter is designed to measure the pH and internal temperature of semi solid food such as meat. The meter has a full pH measurement range from 0 to 14 with an accuracy of ±0.02pH and a resolution of 0.01pH whilst the temperature range goes from 0 to 60˚C with ±0.4˚C accuracy and 0.1˚C resolution. Temperature measurement allows automatic temperature compensation for pH values, thus maintaining accuracy and making the instrument ideal for use in abattoirs, butchers’ shops and the meat-processing industry.

Temperature and pH readings are both taken through robust, exchangeable probe tips and it is very easy to maintain the Testo 205 thanks to a gel electrolyte in the storage cap. It is also easy to clean thanks to the IP65 protection rating so hygiene is not a problem. Results for both parameters are shown simultaneously on the backlit digital screen and an auto-hold function maintains a stable reading on screen with a tone indicating that the reading is ready.

It is possible to calibrate the pH meter at three different points and it has an 80-hour battery life. It is supplied alongside the storage cap, exchangeable penetration probe and a belt/wall holder.

Testo 205 Starter Set

The Testo 205 pH Meter can be purchased within a Starter Set that features an aluminium case and two 250ml bottles of pH calibration at ph4 and pH7 which can be used to calibrate the instrument and maintain accuracy.
