The Testo 316i Gas Leak Detector is a highly intuitive gas detection instrument, produced by one of the world's leading brands in test and measurement. Featuring a simple traffic light LED system, the 316i alerts you to the presence of harmful gas leaks by detecting the presence of methane, propane, hydrogen or butane. In addition to the traffic light system, an audible alert is also emitted when sensing gas to ensure immediate awareness, making gas leak detection simple and straightforward for even the most novice of operators.

The 316i is compatible with the Testo Smart App, meaning that users can connect their unit with a smart device to read gas concentrations (ppm), %LEL and other key data. The device’s sensors include self-testing and automatic zeroing for convenience.

The design of the unit is ergonomic and durable, with a textured grip on a hard plastic surround. A flexible detection probe protrudes from the top of the detector, allowing the tip of the probe to be entered into tight locations for precise placement and sensing.
