Testo 340 Industrial Flue Gas Analyser SO2 Kit

The Testo 340 Industrial Flue Gas Analyser SO2 Kit is ideal for measuring a range of dangerous emissions from industrial combustion systems including sulphur dioxide which is one of the main contributors to acid rain and has a negative impact on human and animal health.

Flue Gas Measurement

In terms of measurement features, the Testo 340 in the SO2 Kit stands out for its ability to measure SO2 from 0 to 5000ppm. This is alongside measurement of oxygen (0 to 25%), CO (0 to 10,000ppm), NO (0 to 4000ppm), temperature (-40˚C to 1200˚C, probe dependent), draught (-40hPa to 40hPa), differential pressure (-200hPa to 200hPa), and absolute pressure (600hPa to 1150hPa). CO measurement is H2-compensated and all measurements are extremely precise and accurate.

The Testo 340 is also capable of calculating various values including flue gas loss, flue gas dew point, efficiency and CO2 level. The useful dilution feature allows the user to measure greater ranges for chemical concentration measurement (up to 25,000ppm for SO2) without placing excess strain on the sensors.

Practicality

The Testo 340 SO2 Kit has a quick-change probe system that is compatible with a wide range of different probes. A 7.8m gas sampling hose is available as an optional extra and the compact sturdy design is ideal for industrial environments. An integrated pump system maintains gas flow in the flue and the kit is supplied with a battery charger, carry strap and a carry case.

Probe Options

Please note that the Testo 340 SO2 Kit does not come with flue gas probes as standard. The three types of probe are listed below but a full breakdown is available in the Testo 340 Brochure in the Product Documents section.

335mm or 700mm standard modular flue gas probes are available with temperature measurement ranges of 500˚C to 1000˚C, with or without dust particle filters.

Gas sampling probes for industrial engines are particularly suited to emission control and can be fitted with a thermocouple for exhaust gas temperature measurement.

Industrial gas sampling probes can be used when an environment or system poses various challenges such as high temperatures, high dust loads, and wet flue gas.
