The Testo 549i Advanced Bluetooth High Pressure Gauge is a very useful instrument that is part of the Testo Smart Probes range. It can measure pressure from -1bar to 60bar with an accuracy of ±0.5% and a resolution of 0.01bar. It has a 7/16” – UNF connection and overload limit of 65bar. It is particularly useful for refrigeration measurements and can be used on CFC, HFC, HCFC, N, H2O and CO2.

As a smart probe, the Testo 549i has a Bluetooth communication range of up to 100m. This allows it to connect wirelessly to the free Testo Smart Probes app which then displays readings on the smartphone screen. The sampling rate of twice-per-second allows intensive measurement during different system phases.

The small, lightweight design of the Testo 549i makes it extremely practical and it is easy to connect to a system, especially as no hoses are required. The 45˚ angled connector is specifically designed for easier access to test points. It has a 130-hour battery life and is covered by a two-year warranty.

Testo Smart App

The Testo Smart App is a free to download App on iOS and Android, suitable for use in all refrigeration, air conditioning, heating and ventilation applications. Users are able to operate, measure and document test results when using the Smart App alongside all compatible Testo Bluetooth enabled measuring instruments. Pro measurement programs air balancing and multi site measurements allow numerous sites to be managed simultaneously.

The App is easy to use thanks to the intuitive measurement menus with quick configuration and uncomplicated documentation design. All measurements are quickly viewable in just a few clicks with graphic and tabular curve displayed. Test measurements and customer data can be stored on the app, with reports easily generated and dispatched to customers and colleagues direct from the App.

The Testo Smart app is free to download and free to use, and is always up to date thanks to continuous updates and extensions from Testo. Data exchange is also available with the Testo PC software DataControl.
