Testo 826-T2 Infrared Thermometer

The Testo 826-T2 Infrared Thermometer measures surface temperature from -50˚C to 300˚C with ±1.5˚C best accuracy and 0.1˚C resolution. It has a non-contact infrared sensor with a 6:1 distance-to-spot ratio so it can take temperature measurements in a non-invasive, hygienic manner. These capabilities make it suitable for use in the food industry, for example by maintaining the cold chain and providing proof for HACCP regulations. The infrared measurement point is indicated by a single laser so the thermometer is very easy to aim.

Min/max display shows the limit values of the most recent measurement and the fast measurement rate (2/s) means that readings can be captured very quickly. A one-line LCD display means that values are legible at a glance whilst a data hold function can freeze a reading on screen when necessary. Furthermore, the user can set an upper and lower alarm threshold which will trigger an audible and visual warning when exceeded.

A TopSafe protective cap is included with the Testo 826-T2 as standard. This dishwasher-safe cap gives the thermometer an IP65 ingress protection rating and the two AAA batteries last for roughly 20 hours so it is ideal for use in challenging conditions.
