Testo 830-T4 Infrared Thermometer
The Testo 830-T4 Infrared Thermometer has a non-contact infrared sensor that measures surface temperature from -30˚C to 400˚C with accuracy of ±1˚C/±1% and a resolution of 0.1˚C. The enormous 30:1 distance-to-spot ratio is extremely useful for measuring small objects at a distance and the emissivity level can be adjusted in order to compensate for different surface types. It is also possible to attach a type K thermocouple to the Testo 830-T4 with a -50˚C to 500˚C temperature range, accuracy of ±(0.5˚C + 0.5%), and resolution of 0.1˚C.
Readings - including maximum and minimum values - are shown on the Testo 830-T4’s digital display and the data hold function allows the user to freeze the current reading on screen. The user can set alarm limits which will trigger a warning if a value falls outside the acceptable range.
A 9V battery and manufacturer’s calibration certificate are supplied as standard and the thermometer benefits from a sturdy design with ABS casing. It is possible to purchase the thermometer in a set with a protective leather pouch and an attachable type K surface probe by using the checkbox above. This cross band, sprung probe is suitable for performing control measurements and measuring low-emissivity surfaces.
