Testo Smart Probes VAC Set

The Testo Smart Probes VAC Kit allows comprehensive assessment of the ventilation in a property. It features a thermometer, two anemometers and a thermohygrometer which all connect to the user’s smartphone via wireless Bluetooth connectivity. The system is coordinated by the free Testo Smart Probes app.

Testo 405i Bluetooth Thermal Anemometer

The Testo 405i Bluetooth Thermal Anemometer is a hot-wire anemometer with an air flow velocity range of 0 to 30m/s with ±0.3m/s + 5% accuracy and 0.01m/s resolution. It also has an air temperature measurement range of -20˚C to 60˚C with ±0.5˚C accuracy and 0.1˚C resolution. It is particularly useful for measuring air flow in ducts as its sensors are located on the end of a 400mm telescopic shaft and this can be inserted through narrow gaps in grills and other outlets.

Testo 410i Bluetooth Vane Anemometer

The Testo 410i Vane Anemometer is a second instrument in the VAC kit that is suitable for measuring air flow speed, this time via a 40mm vane. It has a measurement range of 0.4 to 30m/s with accuracy of ±0.2m/s + 0.2% and resolution of 0.1m/s. This makes it particularly useful for measuring air flow at outlets with greater accuracy. It can also measure air temperature from -20˚C to 60˚C with ±0.5˚C accuracy and 0.1˚C resolution.

Testo 605i Bluetooth Thermohygrometer

The Testo 605i Bluetooth Thermohygrometer has an air temperature measurement range of -20˚C to 60˚C with ±0.5˚C accuracy and 0.1˚C resolution in addition to a humidity range of 0 to 100% with ±3% accuracy and 0.1% resolution. The sensors are located on 73mm bendable probe shaft that is ideal for reaching into awkward places. These measurements allow calculation of further values such as dew point and wet bulb temperatures as well as facilitating detection of mould-friendly conditions.

Testo 805i Bluetooth Infrared Thermohygrometer

The final probe in the Testo Smart Probes VAC Kit is the Testo 805i Infrared Thermometer. This non-contact thermometer has a surface temperature measurement range of -30˚C to 250˚C with ±1.5% accuracy and 0.1˚C resolution, which makes it ideal for locating hidden insulation defects, cold bridges, water leaks and mould-friendly conditions. It has a spot-to-distance ratio of 10:1 and an eight-dot laser pointer to clearly indicate the measurement area.

Testo Smart App

The Testo Smart App is a free to download App on iOS and Android, suitable for use in all refrigeration, air conditioning, heating and ventilation applications. Users are able to operate, measure and document test results when using the Smart App alongside all compatible Testo Bluetooth enabled measuring instruments. Pro measurement programs air balancing and multi site measurements allow numerous sites to be managed simultaneously.

The App is easy to use thanks to the intuitive measurement menus with quick configuration and uncomplicated documentation design. All measurements are quickly viewable in just a few clicks with graphic and tabular curve displayed. Test measurements and customer data can be stored on the app, with reports easily generated and dispatched to customers and colleagues direct from the App.

The Testo Smart app is free to download and free to use, and is always up to date thanks to continuous updates and extensions from Testo. Data exchange is also available with the Testo PC software DataControl.
