The Testo Smartprobe Thermal Imaging Mould Kit combines the abilities of the Testo 860i Thermal Imaging Camera and the Testo 605i Thermohygrometer into a comprehensive solution for detecting areas that are at risk of mould growth. The 860i's infrared imagery capabilities, coupled with the 605i's ability to measure ambient temperature and relative humidity, allows for the user to identify at-risk areas allowing them to enact preventative maintenance if required. The 860i Thermal Imaging Camera is able to detect areas that may have inadequate insulation, which would therefore be prone to condensation and subsequent mould development. Using the 605i Thermohygrometer to monitor for high humidity also allows for users to further identify environments where mould is likely to thrive.

By utilising the Testo Smartprobe Thermal Imaging Mould Kit, surveyors and landlords can identify and address conditions that may lead to mould growth, in order to ensure healthier living conditions. Tackling the potential cause of an issue before it has developed allows for reparation costs to be avoided. When integrated with the Testo Smart App, which both instruments are able to do via Bluetooth, their capabilities are enhanced. The app is able to display data in real-time, and evaluate the collected data and indicate the risk of mould. Users can also save measurement data as a PDF or Excel file, ensuring that any relevant issues are able to be analysed and stored.
