Extech MA445 AC/DC True RMS Clamp Meter

The Extech MA445 AC/DC True RMS Clamp Meter measures various electrical variables including AC/DC current (0 to 400A), AC/DC voltage (600V), resistance (40MΩ), capacitance (40mF), frequency (0 to 1MHz), and temperature (-40˚C to 1000˚C). It is capable of measuring duty cycle and performing diode/continuity testing whilst accuracy stands at ±2.5% for AC current and ±1.2% for AC voltage. Accuracy is aided by true RMS measurement and there is also a non-contact voltage detection function that allows the user to test for live conductors before starting work.

Readings are clearly displayed on the Extech MA445’s backlit LCD screen and there is a data hold function that can freeze a result on screen. It is also possible to perform min/max monitoring. The measurement function is selected by the clear rotary dial and simple push buttons and there is even a bright inbuilt torch that can be used to accurately apply the clamp meter in dark conditions.

The Extech MA445 is supplied with a calibration certificate, test leads, batteries, a type K temperature probe and a pouch for the meter and accessories. It is safety-rated as Cat III 600V and is covered by a one-year warranty.
