Fluke 1674FC Multifunction EVSE Test Kit

Fluke 1674FC Multifunction EVSE Test Kit provides operators with the ideal tools to enable the checking of the functionality and safety of electric vehicle charging stations including the ability to conduct 6mA DC RCD testing of charging points using the Fluke 1674FC Multifunction Tester and the Fluke FEV300 EV Charging Station Test Adaptor with Type 2 Connector together.

Fluke 1674FC Multifunction Tester

The Fluke 1674FC Multifunction Tester is a powerful tool for fast and reliable testing in a variety of settings. Its full-colour screen and rotary dial make it easy to navigate the menu, and its Auto Test function allows you to conduct the entire installation test sequence with the push of a button. The Automatic Measurement Validation function compares test results to relevant standards and provides an instant visual pass/fail indication, so you can quickly identify any potential problems. By eliminating the need for manual testing, the Fluke 1674FC can help you complete installations more efficiently and accurately. The 1674FC provides a number of tests that complete the electrical installation process including the insulation monitoring device (IMD), the Surge protection Device (SPD) tests and Loop and line impedance — mΩ resolution.

The Fluke 1674FC's high current loop mode enables rapid measurements on loop tests of RCD-protected circuits. It supports non-trip mode for RCD types AC, A, and F, allowing you to complete trip time and current tests in a single sequence, additionally, it can test smooth DC-sensitive RCD types B and B+.

The 1674FC includes Flukes patented Insulation PreTest™️, that better protects the installation and can avoid costly errors. If the tester detects that an appliance is connected to the system during a test, the 1674FC will stop the insulation test and provide the operator with a visual and audible alarm. This PreTest™️ function helps to eliminate any accidental damage to equipment with the possibility to save both time and money.

The 1674FC can be used alongside Flukes TruTest™️ Software (optional extra) to provide simple electrical system data management and reporting. Using TruTest™️ allows for the creation and transfer of data between the software and tester via USB-C or via Fluke Connect App to ensure accurate results. The report builder provides users the ability to quickly format test measurements into printable test certificates and reports, with company logos and signatures also available to be added to test reports.

Compact and lightweight the 1674FC is equipped with a neck strap for hands-free testing, offers a full day of use on a single charge thanks to its rechargeable battery. USB-C charging allows for on-the-go power. The included hard carry case provides secure storage and transportation. The 1674FC boasts impressive safety features, including colour-coded input terminals rated at CAT III 600V and CAT IV 300V for over-voltage protection. It can also detect raised voltages above 50V, highlighting potentially hazardous environments. The 1674FC is field-updatable, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations and allowing for continuous enhancements.

Fluke FEV300 EV Charging Station Test Adaptor with Type 2 Connector

The Fluke FEV300 EV Charging Station Test Adaptor with Type 2 Connector when used alongside the Fluke 1674FC Multifunction Tester allows a user to test the performance and safety of electric vehicle charging points. The adaptor can imitate an electric vehicle opening a charging cycle, activating voltage and current output. The user is able to perform tests on charging stations in accordance with IEC/EN 61851-1 and IEC/HD 60364-7-722 standards.

Using the the FEV300 alongside the 1674FC tester allows for a number of tests to conducted including: PE Pre-Test, Proximity Pilot (PP) State, Control Pilot (CP) State and phase indication test. The FEV300 boasts a number of terminals L1, L2, L3, N, and PE allowing for the user to connect Fluke measurement instruments with the CP signal output terminal allowing for the user to check the communication between the adaptor and charging station.
