The KANE 988+ Industrial Flue and Engine Gas Analyser with KDM ( Kane Diagnostic Mode) for engine exhaust efficiency. Using the Kane 988+, any size boiler can be tested using the high suction pump check combustion efficiency, excess air and lambda MCERTS (pending) compatible with optional Kane-GCU gas conditioner. Using the Kane 988+, users can test engine exhausts and catalytic converters in real world conditions, measure AFR and lambda that allows for the improvement of efficiency and fuel consumption. The 988+ can also be used as a pre-compliance and roadside emissions tester (local laws may apply)

The Kane 988+ can be used for testing air conditioning and refrigeration systems whilst also calculating A/C refrigeration superheat and subcool with the optional Kane DTHA2 measuring building and vehicle temperature, airflow and RH. The installation, commission and servicing of any heating and hot water systems using any fossil, biomass and HVO fuel can also be conducted. The 988+ is able to measure temperature of inlet, gas, differential, ambient and flow and return.

Boasting unique NDIR technology, the Kane 988+ is designed to meet official testing standards for CO2, HC and CO to 10%/10,000ppm. O2 can also be tested ad up to four toxic gas sensors NO, NO2, SO2 and H2S can also be added to further enhance testing capabilities. NOx pollution can be controlled as standard, with optional sensors and Kane GCU Gas conditioner can be used for NO2 and SO2 measurements.

With its large colour graphical display and large memory the Kane 988+ is an easy to use device that can can be further enhanced thanks to its Kane Link compatibility which allows for and Kane Link device to be used for measurements such as temperature, pressure, indoor air quality and CO.
