Martindale HPAT425 PAT Tester
The Martindale HPAT425 PAT Tester is a compact handheld PAT tester designed for testing all types of portable appliances with simple one-button automatic testing. Martindale positions it for automatic pass/fail testing of Class I and Class II appliances as well as IEC power leads, making it a practical choice for users who want straightforward PAT testing in a portable format.
A key advantage of the HPAT425 is its ease of use. The unit is small and lightweight for maximum portability, features a large, high-contrast greyscale display for testing in different light conditions, and charges via a USB-C port for convenient on-the-go charging. It also replaces the earlier HPAT400 model in the Martindale range.
The HPAT425 is also well suited to modern appliance testing requirements. It features both 500V and 250V insulation test options, which Martindale highlights as useful for surge-protected devices, along with an IT safe 200mA earth bond test. A range of optional adaptors is also available for testing 110V appliances and equipment fitted with 3-phase plugs, giving the tester added flexibility for broader PAT work.
