Megger PAT150 Contractors PAT Testing Kit

The Megger PAT150 Contractors PAT Testing Kit is well suited to workplaces with low to moderate PAT testing needs where users need more than basic appliance testing, including offices, commercial premises and maintenance environments. Routine testing is simple thanks to dedicated test sequences for Class I and Class II appliances, as well as extension leads, while additional functions provide greater flexibility when checking different types of electrical equipment.

The PAT150 covers essential tests including 200mA earth continuity, insulation testing at selectable 250V or 500V and substitute leakage testing. It can also provide earth leakage, touch current and portable RCD testing when mains power is available, as well as a dedicated test for SELV (Class III) appliances. Adjustable PASS limits and configurable test durations let you tailor the testing process to your requirements, while bond lead resistance nulling helps reduce measurement errors. The PAT150 can also be used for live circuit measurements, allowing you to check mains supply, socket polarity, and AC voltage up to 300V.

Rugged rubber armour and toughened Gorilla Glass help protect the PAT150 during regular use. Its battery-powered operation also allows testing in areas where a convenient electrical supply is unavailable, while the additional mains-powered functions provide greater capability when a suitable supply is accessible. This combination makes the tester practical for professionals moving between different testing environments.

The kit also comes with a comprehensive range of accessories to support the entire PAT testing process. The IEC adaptor allows compatible appliances and leads to be connected for testing, while the PAT certificate pad provides a convenient way to record results. To help identify tested equipment, the kit includes two rolls of 500 PASS labels, 250 PASS wrap labels and 200 FAIL labels. You'll also receive 250 durable Tuff Tag Cable Wrap Labels, ideal for marking cables and leads. Everything fits neatly into the supplied test-meter kit bag, making it easy to keep your equipment organised and transport it between jobs.
