Megger PAT150 Small Business PAT Testing Kit

The Megger PAT150 Small Business PAT Testing Kit provides a practical and cost-effective solution for businesses to carry out routine appliance safety testing in accordance with the IET Code of Practice. The kit includes the Megger PAT150 tester that is capable of testing Class I, Class II, Class III (SELV) appliances and extension leads. It performs all the core tests required for portable appliance testing, including earth continuity, insulation resistance and substitute leakage testing. Additional mains-powered tests such as earth leakage, touch current and portable RCD testing allow users to assess a wider range of electrical equipment, helping to ensure appliances remain safe for continued use in the workplace.

The PAT150 tester has adjustable pass limits and configurable test durations to provide flexibility when working with different appliance types and testing policies. Users can also null the resistance of test leads to improve measurement accuracy, while live circuit measurement functions enable quick checks of mains voltage and socket polarity. Battery-powered operation makes the tester particularly useful when testing equipment in locations where access to a mains supply is limited, while its rugged rubber over-moulding and toughened Gorilla glass construction help it withstand the demands of regular field use.

Included in the kit are essential accessories that support efficient testing such as an IEC Adaptor Kit for testing appliances fitted with IEC leads, as well as a Test Meter PRO socket tester for quickly verifying socket wiring before testing begins. The supplied PAT register book and certificate pad make it easy to document inspections, record results and demonstrate compliance during audits or safety reviews.

A comprehensive selection of pass and fail labels is included to clearly identify tested equipment and maintain accurate asset records.
