FLIR E8 Pro Thermal Imaging Camera
The FLIR E8 Pro Thermal Imaging Camera is a handheld thermal imager with high-resolution thermal image capabilities and excellent measurement ranges. With an IR resolution of 320 x 240 (76,800 pixels) and a 50mK thermal sensitivity, the FLIR E8 Pro provides the user with a camera that can detect temperature differences of just 0.05ºC in many environments such as industrial inspections of electrical and mechanical equipment, monitoring equipment and for use in building inspection to provide analysis of energy efficiency.
The FLIR E8 Pro has a 3.5" 640 x 480 colour LCD touchscreen that can detect temperature measurements from -20ºC to 550ºC. Thermographers using the FLIR E8 Pro can add text annotations to images using the touch screen allowing for detailed notes to be attached to images for later analysis. The FLIR E8 Pro boasts several useful features including a field of view of 33º with fixed focus, and centre spot measurement with min/max temperatures displayed on the screen.
FLIR Ignite™ cloud service
The FLIR E8 Pro is compatible with FLIR Ignite™ cloud service providing users with the ability to store and share images automatically. Users are able to create reports using the FLIR Ignite™ cloud service and FLIR Thermal Studio and share with customers and colleagues. FLIR Ignite provides up to 1GB storage free of charge
FLIR MSX (Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging)
The FLIR E8 pro when used alongside FLIR MSX Image enhancement provides the operator with a more detailed image by using the incorporated 5MP camera and built in LED lamp by combining thermal images and a visual details and over laying the images even in low light areas. Providing users with a clear picture to identify issues.
The 1-Touch Level/Span function provides the operator with one touch of the screen to choose a small area of focus on a thermal image with the camera auto adjusting the level and span based on the contrast spot in the image, saving valuable time on manual adjustments.
The FLIR E8 Pro provides the operator with a number of images modes to choose from: Thermal MSX, Thermal, Picture-in-Picture, Thermal blending and digital camera with a minimum focus distance of 0.36m (1.18ft). The E8 Pro offers users seven colour palettes to view a thermal image in; Iron, White hot, Black hot, Rainbow, Arctic, Lava and Rainbow HC.
The FLIR E8 Pro is a rugged and reliable thermal image camera that has been drop tested up to 2m and can withstand 35G shock and 2G vibration. The battery powered camera boasts a 4 hour usage on a full charge and is provided with a spare battery allowing for a full days use in the field. The battery life is further persevered thanks to the FLIR E8 Pros automatic shutdown should the camera be inactive. The included carry case provides further protection in transport and storage of the E8 Pro.
