The Trend VDV II Pro Voice, Data & Video Cable Verifier (R158005) eliminates guesswork and provides proper documentation and operation when installing, maintaining and troubleshooting data, voice sand video cabling. The VDV II can perform standard tests for copper cabling with a number of connections such as; Coax (F-type), 6 Pin (RJ11/12) and 8 Pin (RJ45) connectors. The VDV II Pro uses Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) length testing and troubleshooting to pinpoint cable faults eliminating guess work when conducting testing by accurately measure the cable length and provide the distance to fault information.

AnyWARE App and Cloud

Using the AnyWARE cloud operators can standardise the workflow with comprehensive testing and documentation. The software allows for professional test reports to be produced and storage of data is both free and unlimited. The self hosted cloud access runs in a web browser and is compatible with PC, Mac, Linux, Android and iOS. Users have peace of mind that data won't be lost thanks to the clouds continuous back ups. The cloud provides operators with the ability to manage projects for different teams in different locations at the same time.

With free unlimited data storage and continuous backup users are able to store test results without the worry of losing data. The Cloud runs in a web browser that is compatible with PC, Mac, Linux, Android and iOS.

The Trend VDVII provides testing for misfires, Opens, Shorts and Split. The port identification function will help the user identity the switch port that the cable is connected too.

The Pro tester provides PoE detection with voltage information and displays the network speed of Ethernet up to 10 Gb/s and duplex (Half/Full) status of a network port. The Pro model VDV II provides a digital tone generator to trace cables.The verifier is protected from voltage, with cable testing disabled should >2V be detected and the user notified with audible and visual warnings.

The large 2.9" back lit screen provides users with a clear screen even in difficult environments with a 0.3 to 450m length range helps to check the integrity of copper cables. The Trend VDV II Plus is battery operated and is enclosed in a robust and rugged outer shell, with an included carry case offering further protection.
