Fluke 1673FC Multifunction Tester

The Fluke 1673FC Multifunction Tester provides reliable installation testing ensuring the safe installation of electrical installations in domestic, commercial and industrial applications that meet industry standards including IEC/HD 60364-6. With an ergonomic design and easy to use interface, the 1673FC is the perfect tool for completing installation testing. With wireless connectivity, the 1673FC allows for data management to be completed to industry standards.

Perform All Required Tests up to 30% Faster

The Fluke 1673FC uses the Auto Test function to enable the complete installation test sequence to be performed at the touch of a button. The integrated help function shows users a visual connection guide. The Automatic measurement validation function with user defined limit warnings compares the test results to the required standards and provide an immediate pass/fail indication. With the elimination of manual testing and automatic measurement validation, the user can perform testing quickly, accurately whilst increasing productivity up to 30% faster, allowing for more time to focus on other tasks and whilst increasing productivity.. Further testing includes resistance, loop and line impedance, tripping speed, Wiring polarity checker, detects broken PE and N wires, prospective Earth Fault Current (PEFC/IK)and Prospective Short-Circuit Current (PSC/IK). Continuity testing with a low test current (10mA) that can be used to measure motor windings.

The additional high current loop mode ensures faster measurements than loop tests with non trip mode for RCD protected circuits. Trip time and current for RCD types AC, A and F can all be completed in one test and smooth DC sensitive RCDs type B and B+ also tested.The Fluke 1673FC can be used alongside an adaptor such as the Fluke FEV300 (available separately) that allows users to complete testing of EV charging stations with 6mA DC RCD testing of charging points also been able to be conducted using the adaptor.

The Fluke 1673FC allows for a number of tests to be conducted including Z-max memory for loop tests that allow for the highest loop test value to be analysed. Simultaneous readings of voltage measurements between L-N, L-PE and N-PE can be conducted using the main cords eliminating the need to change the measurement connections.

Simplified User Interface and Testing Setup

With a full colour touchscreen and rotary dial, the Fluke 1673FC allows for quick and easy navigation through the display menu even when operated with safety gloves. The Fluke 1673FC provides users with a streamlined test set up and preparation that uses the testers bidirectional user interface. Using hierarchical tree topology for clients, sites, distribution boards, circuits and test points that are fully customisable using the colour touchscreen, a smart device or PC. Editing, adding, deleting or alter information directly on the 1674FC to ensure accurate data is captured. Test tables can be produced to enable capturing the right measurement data is captured at the right time, every time. Saving time setting up the tester and organising measurement data, allows for valuable testing to be conducted.

The 1673FC boasts a number of impressive safety features such as the colour coded input terminals rated at CAT III 600V and CAT IV 300V offering over voltage protection and being able to detect raised voltages from >50V allowing potentially dangers environments to be highlighted. The 1673FC is powered by a rechargeable lithium ion battery that can be charged via the USB-C port allowing for a full days use in the field before a recharge is needed. The USB-C port can also be used for data transfer and firmware updates, ensuring the tester is always up to date.

The 1673FC includes a padded neck strap for comfort and allowing for the users hands to be free during testing, the included hard carry case offers protection in the storage and transportation of the tester.

Fluke Connect™️

The 1673FC is compatible with the Fluke Connect app that allows for wireless syncing between the tester and a smart device. Using Fluke Connect, data entry error can be eliminated by saving test measurements directly from the testers and associating them with the work order, report or asset record. Historical and current measurements can be viewed for each asset and the data can be shared using ShareLiveTM video calls and emails. Images can also be taken and assigned with notes to ensure detailed visual inspection reports. Additional Fluke Connect enabled tools can also be used alongside the 1673FC to synchronise data between devices and test points, that provide a clear picture of facility health. Data can also be uploaded to the Fluke Cloud allowing access for colleagues around the world.

Optimized Software and Reporting with Fluke TruTest™️ Software

The 1673FC can be used alongside Fluke TruTest Software (optional extra) to provide simple electrical system data management and reporting. TruTest allows the creation and transfer of data between the software and tester via USB-C or wirelessly to ensure accurate test results. The report builder provides users the ability to quickly format measurement data into printable test certificates and reports, with company logos and signatures also available to be added.
