Fluke SMFT-1000 Solar PV Multifunction Tester- Lite Kit

The Fluke SMFT-1000 Solar PV Multifunction Tester- Lite Kit is a reliable and cost effective solution that allows users to perform IEC 62446-1 Category 1 tests on photovoltaic (PV) solar installations. As part of the kit, as well as the SMFT-1000 Lite, users are provided with a Fluke hard case, TL1000 test lead set and TL1000 MC4 test lead set that are specifically tailored for mandatory safety testing whilst having flexibility to enhance the testing capabilities with optional Fluke accessories.

Fluke SMFT-1000 Solar PV Multifunction Tester

The Fluke SMFT-1000 allows for the installation, commission and maintenance of PV systems in both commercial and industrial industries operating at 10090V DC or below. Keeping the same mainframe of the Fluke SMFT-1000, the SMFT-1000 LITE can add Fluke products such as the Fluke i100 clamp for inverter functional and efficiency tests or the Fluke IRR2-BT that allows for the precise I-V curve tracing and assessments to be completed to IEC 62446-1 Category 2 standards.

Using the coloured test leads and using Flukes "Keep the Leads" function, the SMFT-1000 Lite, will automatically perform mandatory tests in under 30 seconds that comply with IEC 62446-1 standards without having to change the configuration of test leads when performing different tests. Further testing includes, polarity, continuity of protective earthing conductors (RLO) open circuit voltage (Voc) short current (Isc) and insulation resistance (Rins) testing.

On-location I-V curve results compares manufacturer I-V curve data to measured data on the analyzer screen, accurately measuring modules with an efficiency of up to approximately 19% (IRR2-BT Irradiance meter is a required accessory to enable I-V Curve tracing functionality).

The Fluke SMFT-1000 LITE boasts an extended safety rating with the tester being CAT III 1000V rated (IEC 61010-2) and high voltage alert with a colour screen, the tester provides an integrated interface that provides onscreen instructions providing an easy walk through of tests.

Fluke TruTest Solar Database App

The Fluke SMFT-1000 LITE is compatible with the Fluke TruTest Solar app available on the Google Play store, with the primary objective to simplify the user experience in testing solar panels by enabling quick and easy searches in the field within the extensive solar panel database. Data can be transferred directly to their SMFT-1000 LITE eliminating the need for manual input helping to streamline the testing process. With offline functionality, the app allows access even in areas of poor reception/connectivity when working on remote locations.

Fluke Premium Care Plan

With Fluke Premium Care Plan, the aim is to reduce the cost of ownership of the SMFT-1000 LITE by eliminating the service and support charges available as a one or three year option. The care plan includes one annual calibration per year at a Fluke Authorised Service Center. If any accessories originally shipped with the SMFT-1000 LITE are discovered to be defective, these will be replaced free of charge once a year under the care plan.

If a users SMFT-1000 LITE is accidentally damaged then repair of the tester will also be covered in the care plan, providing users with peace of mind should any unforeseen accidents happen.

With the Fluke Premium Care Plan the calibration, repair, collection and delivery of the SMFT-1000 LITE will expedited reducing the downtime for the user.
