The Leica Disto D2 BT Distance Meter with Bluetooth is an accurate and compact laser distance meter designed for indoor measurements. Even the most challenging and time-consuming measurement points are able to be easily accessed with this instrument, whether that be indoor distance, area or volume measurements. In line with ISO 16331-1 standards, the tool can measure up to 100 metres with an accuracy of 1.5mm.

The D2 is the first Leica model that comes with a 'Multi-Functional Endpiece', which ensures accuracy in tight areas. Bluetooth Smart technology makes it possible for the user to transfer their results to a phoene or tablet, which cuts out the chance of errors and speed up the process of results storage and analysis. The ergonomic design makes the D2 BT easy-to-use, without sacrificing the quality of the results. Simply measure the intended target area, log the results, and then share these across the neccessary people.

The D2 BT's Functions

The D2 BT is equipped with several innovative features to improve the user experience, which are as follows:

• Min/Max Distance Tracking - The user can select the 'Min/Max' function, which will automatically track the minimum and maximum distance from a position. This can then be used to measure the distance exactly at the right angle to the wall, or at the diagonal distance of a room.
• IP54 Rating - This ensures that the instrument can be used in a variety of indoor environments, without the worry of damage or disruption.

The DISTO Plan App massively improves productivity by allowing for measurements to be transferred quickly, aswell as sketches and plans. The user can then visualise, measure, communicate and document a project with ease and efficiency.

The user can measure a rough floor plan, then add measurements, doors, windows and perspective. Then, they can take a photo, add dimensions, notes, dates and forward on to who needs it. Finally, they can communicate through difficult processes to speed up the process.
