Leica Disto X4 Distance Meter

The Leica Disto X4 is an easy-to-use, efficient distance meter that has been designed for outdoor use. Building on the impressive features of the Leica Disto X3, the X4 has an in-built pointfinder camera which allows the user to aim the laser with ease. Simply line up the desired measurement point in the on-display crosshairs and you will get a precise measurement.

The X4's high-resolution screen ensures crystal clear imagery, with the target appearing clearly even if the laser dot cannot be seen. The distance measurements provided by the X4 are precise up to 492', with an on-board tilt sensor and Bluetooth for the transfer of measurements to a computer or mobile device. Drop tested up to 2-meters and IP65 certified, the X4 is perfect for outdoor usage, with a measurement range of up to 150m. Simply measure exterior points from a safe position, which will determine distance, area, volume, incline, and tilt, document the measurements into sketches or notes, and then communicate them with your team.

The X4 can also be purchased as part of a kit with the Leica Disto X4 P2P Package, which offers a TRI 120 Tripod, DST 360 Adaptor, and a hard carry case.

  • Point-to-Point - The user can take indirect measurements of two points from one location, which allows for the measurement of hard to reach points
  • Smart Horizontal Distance - Measure the horizontal distance to a target, even if something is blocking the sight line distance to it
  • Measure Plan - The user can measure detailed floor plans, elevations, irregular shapes and hard to reach points
  • Smart Room - The user can also create easy floor plans for complex rooms, by measuring point in said room and then exporting from the DISTO Plan App

DISTO Plan Software

The DISTO Plan App can dramatically boost productivity by transferring measurements, sketches and plans via bluetooth. The user is able to visualise, measure, communicate and document a project with ease and efficiency.

The user can measure a rough floor plan, then add measurements, doors, windows and perspective. Then, they can take a photo, add dimensions, notes, dates and forward on to who needs it. Finally, they can communicate through difficult processes to speed up the task.
