The Testo 883 Thermal Imaging Camera Kit is built to rapidly and reliably detect thermal abnormalities anywhere from small residential buildings to large installations. Featuring an infrared resolution of 320 x 240 pixels (SuperResolution increases this to 640 x 480), the 883 boasts a thermal sensitivity (NETD) of < 40mK and measuring range between -30 to +650 °C with ±2 °C accuracy. With intuitive operation via touchscreen and joystick, take complete control of the manual focus and interchangeable lenses. Thermal imagery can be adversely affected by the difference between indoor and outdoor temperature, the 883 utilises Testo ScaleAssist to overcome this issue by automatically adjusting the scale to the optimum setting.

Wirelessly integrate readings from the Testo 770-3 clamp meter & 605i thermohygrometer directly into the Testo 883 via Bluetooth. Utilise the Testo e-Assist feature within the 883 for automatic recognition of emissivity and determination of reflected temperature, with 11 colour palettes included as standard. This easy-to-handle thermal camera comes complete with an incorporated laser marker & digital camera, is IP54 rated, can operate up to 5 hours on one battery charge and has an internal memory of 2.8GB.

The Testo 883 Thermal Imager Camera Kit offers a range of accessories built to aid professional thermography engineers. As an alternate to the standard 30° x 23° lens, the 12° x 9° telephoto lens which comes as standard is ideal for distant objects and outdoor recording. This kit also includes a spare battery and battery-charging desktop station, optimising charging time and allowing for two batteries charging simultaneously. These features make the 883 perfect for long measuring applications or capturing measurements at greater distances.

Testo SiteRecognition

For advanced image management, the Testo 883 Kit incorporates the intelligent Testo SiteRecognition feature. Based on a QR code, barcode, Data Matrix or Testo 2D code, thermal images are automatically assigned to the correct measurement object. Eliminating the need for tedious, manual image management on a PC, this ensures operators do not lose track of item locations. Along with collected results, these measuring locations can then be transferred from existing inventory lists for future processing in a third-party program. Often engineers will have to take a large amount of pictures of very similar measuring objects, Testo SiteRecognition keeps track of which is which and where it is located, saving a lot of time and stress.

Testo IRSoft & Thermography App

IRSoft is a professional piece of PC software compatible with the Testo 883, designed to thoroughly analyse thermal images and rapidly compile high-quality customer reports. With a report wizard tool providing step-by-step guidance, create reports using stored or customised templates created in the report designer. Presenting detailed documentation in an easy-to-read format, these templates contain all the relevant information such as location, measuring task and inspection results. This advanced PC software can:

• Highlight the exceeding or undershooting of limit values or pixels within a temperature range
• Correct emissivity's of different materials for image areas or sole pixels
• Set an unlimited number of measuring points
• Determine hot and cold spots
• Enable comments on thermal imagery

Testo IRSoft is included with the both the standard Testo 883 thermal imager and Testo 883 Kit, free of charge and does not require a licence.

Turn your smart device into a second display and remote control for the 883 IR camera through the Testo Thermography App. Generate reports on-site and live stream results for customers through their personal devices. The app can insert measuring points and establish a temperature curve, store relevant data, add comments or show a preview of the full report.
