Emazys Z300 PVT Kit (1500V)
The Emazys Z300 PVT Kit (1500V) is a solar PV tester designed to perform photovoltaic testing and troubleshooting with app control and cloud connection for effortless data management. The Emazys Z300 PVT provides users with a number of functions including String test sequence which allows for the measurements of Voc (0 to 1500V) , Isc (0-30A), Riso (0 – 40 MΩ) and the position of an eventual Riso fault with the resistance range for insulation resistance RISO test of 0 – 40 MΩ. Once a measurement has been taken, users may add the PV module data from the database and record the irradiance levels, alongside the cell and ambient temperatures.
Emazys data cloud and Controller App
The Controller app can be downloaded on both iOS and Android devices with Images also taken using the controller app with session level information, PV site name, PV site address and String. The GPS coordinates of test measurements will automatically be stored on the report to further enhance traceability. Open circuit voltage (1500V) and short circuit current (30A) test measurements can be stored and accessed in future when used alongside the Emazys data cloud and saved with one click when logged into the Z300 PVT controller app. When viewing data on the cloud, users can study test results individually on a GEO map and export the data as a customisable PDF and CSV files.
The tone generator function of the Z300 PVT allows for tracing cables, modules and faults in PV arrays and module assemblies. When the tone generator is activated users are able to trace any transmitted signals in cases and modules that are connected to the Z300 PVT. Battery powered, the Z300 PVT has an operation time of 8-10 hours, suitable for a full days use in the field.
Irradiance and temperature measurement
The Z300 PVT is compatible with the Emazys Tempirra PV Irradiance and Temperature Datalogger and the Testo 810 Thermometer, where test readings obtained with these units can be manually entered into the Emazys Controller App for further analysis. You can find both of these instruments in the 'Optional Accessories' tab above.
When used with the Emazys Z300, the Tempirra Logger adds irradiance and temperature measurements alongside your PV electrical test results, so you can assess performance against the real site conditions. This helps confirm whether low generation is caused by low sunlight or high module temperature, or if it points to a genuine system fault, and provides clearer context for reporting and troubleshooting.
