Emazys Z300 zuno 1500V Solar Tester

The Emazys Z300 zuno 1500V Solar Tester is a simplified PV tester designed to perform fast, standard electrical checks during modern solar farm commissioning and maintenance. The electrical tests it performs include open-circuit voltage, short-circuit current, polarity, insulation resistance, and insulation fault location – covering everything required to efficiently validate a PV string in the field.

All results are captured and synchronised in real time through the Emazys Cloud, giving users immediate visibility across an entire project. Each measurement is automatically tagged with GPS location, timestamp, and optional on-site photos, ensuring full traceability while simplifying reporting. Users can access their data from anywhere, generate professional reports in PDF, CSV, or Excel formats, and structure results to match their existing workflows.

AI-Powered Insights with Max

Emazys’ AI assistant, Max – built directly into the cloud platform – helps you interpret field test results, provides quick insight summaries, and answers technical questions. By simply logging in to the Emazys Cloud, Max AI can access your test data and deliver tailored insights instantly, making it one of the fastest ways to obtain expert-level guidance, anytime, 24/7. A public version of Max AI is also available on the Emazys website. While it does not access personal or project data, it can still answer general questions and guide users through technical topics and product-related enquiries. Max AI is still learning. The more it interacts with users, the smarter and more accurate it becomes, and your patience is appreciated as it continues to improve and expand his knowledge.

Hardware & Module Compatibility

Despite its simplicity, the Z300 zuno shares the same inrush‑robust hardware platform as the Z300 PVT. This makes it fully compatible with high‑efficiency module technologies including TOPCon, HJT, and bifacial panels. The instrument uses Bluetooth to connect to the Emazys Controller App, allowing operation to be straightforward while maintaining high levels of safety and measurement precision.

The Z300 zuno is fully field‑upgradable to the Z300 PVT, unlocking advanced diagnostic features through a cloud‑based activation, without having to return the it to a service centre. Once upgraded, all historical test data will automatically be enriched with series resistance values, adding deeper analytical value to previous measurements.

Please note: Should you consider this upgrade at a later stage, you can simply get in touch with the Test-Meter sales department to have this additional function enabled.

Irradiance and Temperature Measurement

The Z300 zuno is compatible with the Emazys Tempirra PV Irradiance and Temperature Datalogger, where test readings obtained on this unit can be manually entered into the Emazys Controller App for further analysis. You can find the instrument in the 'Optional Accessories' tab above or add tick it before adding to the basket.

The Tempirra Datalogger, used with the Z300 zuno, adds irradiance and temperature measurements alongside your PV electrical test results, so you can assess performance against the real site conditions. This helps confirm whether low generation is caused by low sunlight or high module temperature, or if it points to a genuine system fault, and provides clearer context for reporting and troubleshooting.
