Advanced Features
Correct decisions are based on clear comprehensible facts, the Fluke TiX501 boasts a wealth of features designed to make the facts as precise and understandable as possible. Provided as standard, the LaserSharp Auto Focus function utilises a laser distance meter to calculate object distance and immediately adjust the focus. The distance is displayed on screen as you achieve in-focus images in a matter of seconds. The built-in Fluke IR-Fusion technology will automatically capture an infrared image at the same time as a digital visible light image, blending one picture with the other. Overlaid pixel for pixel in a single display, the two pictures can be viewed in full infrared, full visible light or at various degrees of blending. These seamlessly blended images produce an absolutely vital level of detail. A picture-in-picture mode (PIP) and 5mp digital camera are available, as are 2 user-definable spot markers and a user defined measurement box with movable size and Min/Max/Average temperature display.
Other advanced features supplied with the Fluke TiX501 include wireless connectivity, a laser pointer and LED torch. Text annotations allow the user to add custom notes to captured images whilst hot & cold spot markers and centre-point temperature measurements are useful for understanding the on-screen results. In addition, on-screen emissivity correction, reflected background temperature compensation and transmission correction functions enhance the crystal clear imagery even further. Multiple language options, 8 standard palette options and 8 ultra contrast palette options are all offered with the TiX501.
The Fluke TiX501 Thermal Camera is designed for portable, handheld usage even in the toughest of on-site environments. Image file formats can be either non-radiometric BMP, JPEG, or fully-radiometric is2 and stored safely within the internal 4GB memory, with space for a second 4GB micro SD card. Encased in a hard-wearing ruggedised outer-shell, the 5.7" 640 x 480 touchscreen LCD display is drop tested to 2m and rated IP54 against water or dust ingress. The tactile touchscreen surface is useful for a multitude of options including moving the adjustable level and span for smooth auto & manual scaling. Capable of standard format video recording and 2x digital zoom, the rotatable design and long neck strap avoids and glare and provides a premium in-field viewing experience.
Powered by a rechargeable battery, the TiX501 is covered by a two year warranty with extended warranties available. This thermal camera is compatible with a range of different Smart Lenses, sold separately these additional accessories which require no calibration while further improving versatility & image quality.
Voice Annotation & IR-PhotoNotes
Up to 60 seconds of voice annotations can be recorded via an optional but not required Bluetooth headset. With playback reviewable on the TiX501 camera, engineers need no longer carry a clipboard or try and remember exactly what they saw and where it was. Meanwhile thanks to IR-PhotoNotes, take photos of asset numbers or other identifiers and use them as a reference when looking at the thermal image on your computer. These notes include standard shortcuts as well as user programmable options.
Asset Tagging
Use Fluke Connect Asset Tagging to scan a QR code on the object in question and all subsequent images will be automatically sorted and organised together. Eliminating the need to drag and drop images, there is no longer any requirement to spend an age renaming files or searching for individual pictures one at a time. Use this feature to simplify reporting and quickly compare measurement types in one location, whether mechanical, electrical or infrared.
Fluke Connect Software
The TiX501 Thermal Camera is fully usable with Fluke Connect, the ultimate solution for quickly sorting and storing captured images. Brandishing a contemporary visual design and intuitive menu navigation, this software simplifies work flow and reduces unnecessary downtime. Wirelessly synch your camera to your smart device and images taken will automatically upload to the Fluke Connect app for saving and sharing. Operators can edit & optimise captured pictures, access thermal images from cloud storage and even search through logged evidence by asset, severity or title. Export multiple file formats with Fluke Connect software such as BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG and TIFF.
With a remote display available through the Fluke Connect, use this software to combine infrared and visible images for simpler analysis and detailed reporting. By saving measurements directly from the unit, eliminate data-entry errors and make confident maintenance decisions with traceable data. In addition, with the software installed share your measurement data using ShareLive video calls and emails.
