Fluke TiX580 Thermal Imaging Camera

The Fluke TiX580 Infrared Camera is a high definition infrared thermal imager that can be used in numerous fields to identify potential issues before they become a problem. Suitable for preventative maintenance and outdoor inspections the Fluke TiX580 is an ergonomic and robust thermal camera giving users the ability to capture high quality images in multiple environments. The TiX580 boasts a detector resolution of 640 x 480 (307,200 pixels) which, when used alongside Flukes SuperResoultion, images of 4 times the pixel data (1280 x 960 pixels) can be generated.

The 5.7inch touch screen of the TiX580 shows viewers images and measurements on a 640 x 480 resolution LCD screen. The integrated laser distance meter, provides users the ability to accurately measure the distance of target objects, with the measurement shown on screen. The digital zoom (2x, 4x and 8x) allows users to zoom in on objects without losing focus. The 240º rotating lens allows users to capture images in hard to reach places.

The Fluke TiX580 offers a temperature range of -20ºC and 1000ºC with an accuracy of ±2°C/ 2%. The thermal sensitivity of ≤0.05°C at 30°C target temp (50 mK) and field of view 34°H x 24°V offer a minimum focus distance of 15cm.

The Fluke TiX580 Infrared Camera is available in two models with different frame rates:

  • Fluke TiX580 High Resolution Thermal Imaging Camera 9Hz
  • Fluke TiX580 High Resolution Thermal Imaging Camera 60Hz

The TiX580 is powered by one of the two lithium batteries supplied. Each battery provides 2-3 hours of use. Adjustable neck and hand straps provide the user with added comfort when operating the TiX4580. The camera is IP54 rated protecting the unit from water and dust ingress and I drop tested from 1m with the standard lens. The included hard carry case offers further protection. Using the MATLAB® and LabVIEW® tool boxes, users can integrate camera data, infrared video and images into software to support R&D analysis. With a two year warranty from Fluke, The TiX680 is a rugged and durable camera suitable for industrial use in many environments.

Voice annotation up to 60 seconds maximum recording time per image can be attached and are reviewable with playback on the camera. Data can also be stored on the 4GB microSD memory card and 4GB flash memory.

Fluke MultiSharp™ Focus

Using the Fluke MultiSharp™ Focus ensures the images and targets are in focus in the TiX580 field of view. The camera captures multiple images and then combines them into one single image with all targeted subjects in focus. When combined with SuperResolution, Fluke MultiSharp™ Focus can be used when images are blurry.

Fluke LaserSharp™ Auto Focus

The Fluke TiX580 includes an integrated laser distance meter which calculates the distance the camera is from a specified target. Using the Fluke LaserSharp™ Auto Focus allows the thermographer to view the target object in the clearest clarity.

Fluke Connect™

Thew Fluke TiX580 when used with the Fluke Connect™ App on a smart device (available as a free download from Fluke) users are able to manage, store and analyse data. Files can be exported using the software in Bitmap (.bmp), GIF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF files. Fluke connect can be connected to a users smart device and can be used in the field allowing real time data to be viewed and shared remotely. Reports can be generated easily and shared via email with colleagues and/or customers. Data from the Fluke Connect™ can be uploaded to Fluke Cloud for further storage.

IR-Fusion™ Blending Technology

Using the IR-Fusion™ Blending Technology adds the context of the visible details to the infrared image. The Fluke TiS580 also includes a built in 5MP digital camera allowing the TiX580 to blend the IR and digital images together providing a more detailed image.

The user is able to alter the IR image colour palette in order to view temperature differences clearer. 8 colour palettes can be chosen on the touch screen: Ironbow Ultra, Blue-Red Ultra, High Contrast Ultra, Amber Ultra, Amber Inverted Ultra, Hot Metal Ultra, Grayscale Ultra and Grayscale Inverted Ultra. Users are able to apply a colour alarm (temperature alarms): High temperature, low temperature, and isotherms (within range) and marker, when the pre set temperatures are exceeded the alarm alerts the user.

SuperResolution

Using SuperResolution transforms a 680 x 480 px image into a 4x pixel datas image of 1280 x 960. The TiX580 takes one image and using the Fluke SuperResolution four images are taken and overlapped creating the 1280 x 960 image.

Optional Fluke Smart Lenses

Using Flukes telephoto smart lens (x2) and wide-angle smart lens, users are able interchange lenses without the need for calibration. Users are able to combine the TiX580 with the optional additional lenses to capture differing sized targets, at different distances, allowing for complete inspections in varying environments.
