Trend VDV II Voice, Data & Video Cable Verifier with AnyWARE Cloud R158007
The Trend VDV II Voice, Data & Video Cable Verifier with AnyWARE Cloud R158007 is the ideal instrument for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting data, voice and video cabling. The integrated RJ11/RJ12 (voice), RJ45 (data) and F-Type (video) connectors providing testing of most tyres of low voltage cables by eliminating the need for separate testers.
Trend AnyWARE mobile app and AnyWARE Cloud
The Trend VDV II is compatible with the free AnyWARE mobile app where test results can be stored in real time and then uploaded to AnyWARE Cloud with a simple push of a button where users can generate professional PDF reports to send to customers and colleagues from the field. The Trend VDV II allows users to attach photos to test results allowing for these to be included in any reports generated.
With free unlimited data storage and continuous backup users are able to store test results without the worry of losing data. The Cloud runs in a web browser that is compatible with PC, Mac, Linux, Android and iOS.
The VDV II allows users to test for misfires, opens, shorts and split pairs, whilst also performing tests for UTP and STP cabling. An analogue tone generator enables the tracing of cables for finding faulty or mislabelled cabling. The VDV II offers voltage protection with cable testing disabled if >2V detected.
The VDV II can quickly determine which media derive is running over the cable including Ethernet, ISDN, PBX and PoE providing a fault diagnosis quickly. The units port blink function provides the user to identify the switch port which the cable is connected to.
