Castle Noise Activated Warning Sign System

The Castle Noise Activated Warning Sign System is designed for use in environments where workers are subjected to intermittent, excessive noise. In such conditions, clear warning of excess noise allows all those present to put on appropriate hearing protection, thus preventing hearing loss. The Castle Warning Sign System is an excellent solution as it combines the Castle GA902 Noise Activated Sign with a Castle GB004 flashing beacon. This clearly signals to everyone present that hearing protection is needed.

The Castle GA902 detects sound through its inbuilt Castle electret microscope and, once the trigger level is exceeded, its twin fluorescent lights will illuminate the 450mm x 190mm sign’s EC-approved message stating ‘Approved Hearing Protection Must Be Worn’. In addition, the beacon will flash at a steady rate in order to make the message even clearer. The trigger level can be set between 75dB and 112.5dB at 2.5dB intervals and the trigger time can also be adjusted between 5 and 30 seconds. Frequency weighting is set as ‘A’ in accordance with IEC651 Type 2 and the sign is capable of operating off a 240V or 110V supply.
