The Chauvin Arnoux CA 6117 Multifunction Tester is an incredibly sophisticated MFT that boasts all the usual measurement features plus several other more advanced functions that really give the user an in-depth look at system performance. Using just this tester, a professional electrician can certify whether any electrical installation conforms to international standards as well as carrying out advanced troubleshooting and servicing.

Measurement of voltage, frequency, current (via optional clamp) and resistance is possible with the Chauvin Arnoux CA 6117 whilst it can also be used to test continuity, RCDs, earth grounding, loop & line, phase rotation, and insulation. A high 1mΩ resolution is available for loop testing whilst pulse, ramp and no-trip RCD testing offers in-depth analysis on this important safety feature. B-type RCD testing is also possible with the CA6117.

Several advanced features make the Chauvin Arnoux CA6117 an extremely comprehensive tester. These include power calculation and harmonics analysis for troubleshooting in addition to voltage drop for sizing conductor diameter.
