The Chauvin Arnoux CA6526 Insulation Tester is an advanced industrial megohmmeter which is ideally suited for work on industrial insulation thanks to an enormous measurement range of 0 to 200GΩ. Test voltages of 50V, 100V, 250V, 500V and 1000V give the user great flexibility when testing insulation and all readings are reliable thanks to a high degree of accuracy. Other useful test and measurement functions on the tester include voltage measurement, capacitance measurement, frequency measurement, regular resistance measurement and continuity testing.

It is possible to set the instrument to perform tests over regular intervals and relative mode provides further depth to insulation tests. PI / DAR ratio measurement is also available to help test insulation quality and I leakage testing constitutes another important aspect of the Chauvin Arnoux CA6526.

Exact results are displayed on the Chauvin Arnoux CA6526’s backlit digital display which features a logarithmic bar graph. A simple dial and push buttons allow easy operation and function selection.

The Chauvin Arnoux CA6526’s internal memory can store up to 1,300 recordings, thus allowing the user to mark out insulation performance over time, and these can even be transferred to a computer by Bluetooth wireless connectivity. From there, optional Chauvin Arnoux DataView software can be used to carry out thorough analysis of inspection results.
