Chauvin Arnoux PEL104 Power Energy Logger - Contractors Kit

The Chauvin Arnoux PEL104 Power Energy Logger - Contractors Kit is the ideal kit needed for successful energy monitoring. Included within the kit is of course the PEL 104 Power Energy Logger and also current sensors, leads and software that are needed for data logging purposes. To keep the tester and equipment safe, the Contractors Kit comes with a rugged hard carry case that protects all components in transit and storage. Access to Chauvin Arnoux's technical supports, videos and guides are all included to help the end user. 4 x Reeling Boxes 3m Voltage Leads are also supplied that have a magnetic back allowing for magnetising to a distribution board. The PEL 104 also allows for data logging and data transfer thanks to the Wi-Fi connectivity.

Chauvin Arnoux PEL104 Power Energy Logger

The PEL 104 is perfect for both commercial and industrial installations helping businesses identify potential energy savings by finding power quality problems such as harmonics or poor power factor. Users are able to Remote monitor sites with data being viewed in real time at an installation.

The PEL104 measures and records all the relevant data for energy consumption diagnostics, recording continuously with intervals of 200ms between each measurement. Capable of 5 readings per second and recorded simultaneously on each phase, all data is captured as per the IEEE 1459 standard. Thanks to its large measurement ranges, voltage up 1,000 VAC/VDC and current up to 10 kVAC / 5 kVDC, the PEL 104 can log power values up to 10 GW/GVar/GVA, and energy up to 4 EWh/EVAh/EVarh. This makes the 104 ideal for energy usage analyses, load studies, energy surveys and complying with the energy audit requirements of ISO 50001 and EN 16247-3.

The PEL104 Power Energy Logger performs the following measurements:

  • RMS and DC measurements with 128 samples/cycle – simultaneously on each phase
  • AC and/or DC voltages up to 1000 V
  • Current up to 10 kA AC or 5 kA DC (depending on the current sensor)
  • Energy values up to 4 EWh / 4 EVAh / 4 EVarh & total energy (4 quadrants)
  • Phase data: cos φ, tan Φ, power factor (PF)
  • Crest factor
  • Harmonics up to the 50th order for currents and voltages
  • DC, 50 Hz, 60 Hz and 400 Hz measurements

Chauvin Arnoux and the PEL104 are dedicated to improving energy efficiency within sustainable, economical buildings. Indeed optimisation of energy consumption is in fact vital to fulfil the latest regulatory requirements.

If when using the PEL 104 there isn't access to a normal pin adapter, the mains power adapter included in the kit, allows for the PEL to be powered through the voltage connections allowing for when measuring the circuit the circuit that is on the test can power the PEL104 during logging sessions. Data view software allows for professional PDF reports to be produced for customers and colleagues.
