Extech CO260 CO/CO2 Meter

The Extech CO260 CO/CO2 Meter is capable of measuring ambient carbon monoxide from 0 to 1000ppm and ambient carbon dioxide from 0 to 9999ppm. CO measurements are accurate to ±20% and precise to 1ppm whilst CO2 measurements are accurate to ±(5% + 30ppm) and also precise to 1ppm. Additionally, the monitor can measure air temperature from -20˚C to 60˚C and relative humidity from 0.0 to 99.9% RH, thus enabling automatic calculation of wet bulb and dew point values.

These extensive measurement capabilities make the Extech CO260 ideal for assessing air quality in workplaces and other facilities as well as checking for dangerous levels of carbon monoxide in boiler rooms, warehouses, boats, and other locations with fuel-burning appliances. It has a maintenance-free infrared CO2 sensor and can adjust CO2 readings for altitude.

Readings are shown on the Extech CO260’s backlit digital display which also features a real time clock. Operation is conducted through a set of simple buttons and menus and it is easy to toggle between different measurement parameters. An audible alarm can be set at a user-adjustable level for CO and the software on the meter can calculate 8-hour time weighted average (TWA) and 15-minute short-term exposure limit (STEL).

The Extech CO260’s internal memory has space for up to 99 readings in manual mode and can even capture up to 32,000 readings in datalogging mode when connected to a PC. Min/max readings are available and it is possible to freeze a reading on screen using data hold.

The Extech CO260 comes supplied with four AA batteries, a USB cable, a software package and a hard carry case as standard. It is covered by a one-year warranty.
