FLIR Si124 Industrial Acoustic Imaging Camera

The FLIR Si124 Industrial Acoustic Imaging Camera assists users in locating pressurised leaks within compressed air systems and detects partial discharges produced by high-voltage electrical systems. With this lightweight FLIR camera utility, manufacturing and engineering professionals can identify potential failures and energy losses up to 10 times faster than current methods. Built with 124 microphones, this one-handed battery-powered solution utilises a frequency range which covers both audible and ultrasound (2 kHz to 31 kHz). It produces precise acoustic images with clear visual ultrasonic information, even in loud industrial environments. Save money on utility bills and avoid installing expensive new compressors by implanting this maintenance tool regularly.

The compact FLIR Si124 improves the reliability of electrical systems by easily classifying partial discharges such as floating discharge, surface discharge and discharge into the air. Pre-empt catastrophic failure by quickly identifying corona discharge with this intelligent, intuitive system even in daytime conditions. The display interface of this FLIR Camera is a 5-inch screen with adjustable brightness, a video image resolution of 1640 x 1234 and a 2x digital zoom. Acoustic images are transposed, in real-time, on top of the digital camera picture to accurately pinpoint the source of the sound.

The Si124 Acoustic Imaging Camera comes fully equipped with the FLIR Acoustic Camera Viewer cloud service for automatically saving images to the cloud once captured. Access these stored files to separate sound sources for further analysis and advanced classification. This smart tool allows the operator to instantly view the leak rate (l/min or CFM) and quickly calculate an estimated yearly energy loss caused by a compressed air/vacuum leak. By identifying these issues swiftly, operations can avoid lengthy delays and extend compressor life by eliminating any wasted output. Thanks to this wireless data transfer, an engineer can rapidly classify PD/corona types and determine if service or replacement is necessary.

Flir Thermal Studio Pro

The FLIR Si-Series Plugin provides compatibility for FLIR Si-Series cameras with FLIR Thermal Studio, allowing you to edit and evaluate images and create reports for export. The plugin provides support for other useful functionalities including automatic fault classification, severity indication, recommended action for utility inspections, estimation of leak volume, cost savings for air leaks, and allows you to combine acoustic and thermal images within the same report.
