FLIR VS70-4 Articulating Wireless Borescope Kit

The FLIR VS70-4 Articulating Borescope Kit allows the user to look inside cramped or inaccessible areas, for example in piping, flooring and wall cavities. It contains a sturdy monitor coupled with a four-way articulating camera probe.

The FLIR VS70 Borescope monitor unit has a 640 x 480 pixel screen which displays high definition images and video from the attached camera probe. The double-moulded rubber casing protects the unit from dust and water ingress and it has been drop-tested from a height of 3m. The user can control various factors including brightness and field of view from the monitor unit.

A 4GB SD card is supplied within the kit to fit into the FLIR VS70 monitor unit. It can store thousands of images as well as recording video. The user can even add voice annotations in real time to video, thus recording observations during inspections. A USB port allows data transfer to a PC and can also be used for charging the unit.

The FLIR VSA4-1-W is a wireless camera probe that has four-way articulation of the 8mm camera head. The articulation is controlled by a dial on the main unit and allows the user to swivel the head to view beyond the standard 60˚ field of view. An integrated LED torch helps illuminate the camera’s surroundings in poor visibility.

The camera probe is available with a short-focus lens or a long-focus lens, simply select your preference using the drop-down menu above. It has a 1m semi-rigid cable that can be fed into the target area and is capable of wirelessly transmitting images back to the monitor unit over 10m away.

The FLIR VS70-4 Kit contains a set of other useful accessories to complement the monitor unit and camera probe. These include a 4GB SD card, audio headset, shoulder strap, USB cable and hard carry case.
