Fluke 1663 Multifunction EVSE Test Kit

The Fluke 1663 Multifunction EVSE Test Kit with EV charging kit is a powerful tool for testing the function and safety of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. The kit includes the Fluke 1663 multifunction tester and the FEV300 EV charging station test adapter kit

The Fluke 1663 when used alongside the FEV300 can perform tests on EV charging station DC protection devices using the RCD type B (smooth DC currents) VAR mode. This mode allows for RCD type A-EV or RCD-DD acc to be tested according to IEC 62955 (6/60/200 mA and ram <2 to 6 mA ramp). When used together the Fluke 1663 and FEV300 can quickly and easily test 6mA DC monitors on charging points.

Fluke 1663 Multifunction Tester

The Fluke 1663 is a versatile tester that can perform a wide range of electrical tests, including voltage, current, resistance, continuity, and insulation resistance. It also has built-in features for testing RCDs (residual current devices) and loop and line impedance.

The Fluke 1663 allows the user to measure voltage between L-N, L-PE and N-PE without requiring any changes to connections and ring continuity testing can also be carried out using just soft keys rather than different test leads. For loop testing, Z-max memory helps the user easily identify the highest value in a circuit.

Cat III 500V rated for overvoltage as well as meeting all applicable national regulations, the Fluke 1663 also detects dangerous earth voltages automatically, which is pointed out to the user.

Fluke FEV300 EV Charging Station Test Adaptor with Type 2 Connector

The Fluke FEV300 EV Charging Station Test Adaptor with Type 2 Connector when used alongside then Fluke 1663 Multifunction Tester allows a user to test the performance and safety of electric vehicle charging stations. By imitating  electric vehicle, the adaptor can open a charging cycle, activate voltage and current output. The user is able to perform tests on charging stations in accordance with IEC/EN 61851-1 and IEC/HD 60364-7-722 standards.

The FEV300 allows for a number of tests to conducted including: PE Pre-Test, Proximity Pilot (PP) State, Control Pilot (CP) State and phase indication test. The FEV300 boasts a number of terminals L1, L2, L3, N, and PE allowing for the user to connect Fluke measurement instruments with the CP signal output terminal allowing for the user to check the communication between the adaptor and charging station.

The Fluke 1663 Multifunction EVSE Test Kit is compatible with the Fluke TruTest™ software providing a hassle free data management and reporting solution. The TruTest™ software allows a user to quickly and easily import test measurement data and results from the test instruments, manage files and manually enter data if needed.
