The Fluke 1664FC Multifunction EVSE Test Kit checks the functionality and the safety of electric vehicle charging stations using the Fluke 1664FC Multifunction Tester and the Fluke FEV300 EV Charging Station Test Adaptor with Type 2 Connector

Fluke 1664FC Multifunction Tester

The Fluke 1664FC when used alongside an adaptor such as Fluke FEV300, tests can be performed on EV charging stations DC protection devices using the RCD type B (smooth DC Currents) VAR mode. This generators the test currents for RCD type A-EV or RDC-DD acc can test according to IEC 62955 (6/60/200 mA and ramp <2 to 6 mA ramp) safety standards. This allows the operator to quickly and easily perform additional testing of 6mA DC RCD monitors on charging points.

The Fluke 1664 is a safe and efficient electrical testing tool capable of conducting a number of tests including True-RMS AC voltage, resistance, loop and line impedance, tripping speed, prospective earth fault current, earth resistance and RCD/FI tripping current. With a CAT III 500V over voltage protection and earth Volt Touchpad able to detect raised earth voltages (>50V) highlighting potentially dangerous test situations.

The Fluke 1664 is compatible Fluke Connect technology allowing users to stream test results straight to a smart device and Fluke Cloud database for storage of test results which can be shared with customers or colleagues at any moment.

With its large LCD display and many time saving features, such as auto-testing for line impedance, RCD trigger test and insulation tests, the Fluke 1664FC is a safe and accurate electrical testing tool to test electrical systems.

Fluke FEV300 EV Charging Station Test Adaptor with Type 2 Connector

The Fluke FEV300 EV Charging Station Test Adaptor with Type 2 Connector when used alongside then Fluke 1664FC Multifunction Tester allows a user to test the performance and safety of electric vehicle charging points. The adaptor imitates an electric vehicle opening a charging cycle, activating voltage and current output. The user is able to perform tests on charging stations in accordance with IEC/EN 61851-1 and IEC/HD 60364-7-722 standards.

The FEV300 allows for a number of tests to conducted including: PE Pre-Test, Proximity Pilot (PP) State, Control Pilot (CP) State and phase indication test. The FEV300 boasts a number of terminals L1, L2, L3, N, and PE allowing for the user to connect Fluke measurement instruments with the CP signal output terminal allowing for the user to check the communication between the adaptor and charging station.

TruTest™ Software

The Fluke 1664 Multifunction EVSE Test Kit is compatible with the Fluke TruTest™ software providing a hassle free data management and reporting solution. The TruTest™ software allows a user to quickly and easily import test measurement data and results from the test instruments, manage files and manually enter data if needed.
