Fluke 810 Vibration Tester

The Fluke 810 Vibration Tester is a handheld advanced troubleshooting tool for mechanical maintenance teams requiring answers quickly. The diagnostic technology helps to quickly identify and prioritise mechanical problems allowing for the control of downtime and preventing recurring problems. The 810's allows for an onboard identification and location of common mechanical faults such as bearings, misalignment, unbalance and looseness. The 5.7" backlit LCD screen allows for quick and easy assessment of the overall vibration level with a machine rotational speed range of between 200rpm to 12000rpm. The Fluke 810 has automatic ranging with a 4 channel 24 bit A/D converter,  the 810 also boasts a useable frequency bandwidth of 5 Hz to 20 kHz.

The troubleshooting of a machine is a simple three step process using the Fluke 810 vibration tester:

  1. 1. Set-up: Entering the basic machine information such as RPM and horsepower. The on board info feature provides field tips for setting up and measurement recording.
  2. 2. Measure: The 810 can be used to quickly identify problems and monitor the machines conditions.
  3. 3. Diagnose: With a simple press of a button the 810 can quickly identify the root cause of the problem, the location and severity of the problem.

Using the Fluke 810 four severity fault levels, operators are able to prioritise maintenance work. Overall vibration measurements and spectral diagrams can be produced, giving operators the ability to quickly assess the overall health of a machine, with enhanced reporting and recommendations give confidence any critical problems can be solved confirm the data quality. Real time tips and guidance is providing on board allowing for new or less experienced technicians to use the tester to develop knowledge.

Using the Fluke 810, machines can be accessed before and after planned maintenance and confirm faults and repairs needed. New equipment can be commissioned and ensure that the proper installation has been adhered to. The Fluke 810 offers users a flexible machine speed configurations giving technicians the ability to test a broad range of assets such as belt drives, gear boxes and bevel gears.

The Fluke 810 includes a 2GB expandable on board memory with an assessable slot for an additional 2GB storage memory card. Powered by a Lithium-ion 14.8V, 2.55Ah battery, with a battery life of up to 8 hours, the Fluke 810 can be used for a full day in the field before needing a recharge.

The included Tri-axial accelerometer reduces the measurement time by up to two thirds over single axis accelerometers. Also included with the Fluke 810 is a Laser tachometer that allows for the accurate machine running speed to be determined, providing the user with a confidence diagnosis of the problems with a response time of 1 second up to 1m and a range of 6.0rpm to 99,999rpm.

Viewer PC Software

The Fluke 810 Vibration Tester includes Viewer PC Software allowing the user to expand their data storage and tracking capability. Using the Viewer Software technicians are able to generate diagnostic reports and track the severity of a machines condition. Using your PC, machine setups can be created and the data transferred the Fluke 810 Vibration Tester.

Using the Software, users are able to view the diagnosis and vibration spectra in greater detail. JPEG images can be imported and stored allowing for a complete view of a machines condition.

Training DVD

Included within the 810 Vibration Tester is a training DVD from Mobius Institute an industry leader in vibration training, to provide a self paced DVD training program. The DVD will allow the user to learn more about the basics of vibration, providing knowledge of how to fully use and understand the features and functionality of the Fluke 810 Vibration Tester.
