Protimeter BLD5905 Technician’s Kit

The Protimeter BLD5905 Technician’s Kit combines two Protimeter measurement tools and a heavy duty electrode with two other carefully selected accessories to offer a complete solution for moisture measurement.

The HygroMaster 2, as included within this technicians kit, represents the latest in thermo-hygrometer technology. The HygroMaster 2 sports an infrared non-contact thermometer, psychrometric calculation functionality and a simple-to-use colour display interface. Quickly assess temperature and humidity through the replaceable integrated sensors, storing up to 8,000 results including date and time stamping with the bush of a button.

The second instrument included within this kit is the SurveyMaster dual function moisture meter. This meter can enable building professionals to diagnose moisture related issues within structures, detect moisture ingress or monitor fluctuations in moisture levels. The device can measure both surface and sub-surface levels through the integrated search and measure modes. Search mode enables the user to identify moisture at a nominal depth of 19mm below hard surfaces, possessing particular usefulness for detection beyond concrete and plaster. Measure mode uses the built-in auxiliary pin-probes to provide readings at surface level for the immediate area of contact.

The included Heavy Duty Hammer electrode is specifically intended to obtain sub-surface moisture measurements in wood. Its all-metal design provides strength for regular and prolonged use, while its extended pins allow for measurement at greater depth than the standard auxiliary pins of the Surveymaster.
