The Protimeter Hygromaster 2 and Aquant Moisture Meter Kit is a great kit for non-invasive measurement of moisture, temperature and humidity in structures. It features a thermohygrometer and Aquant moisture meter.

Protimeter Aquant Moisture Meter

The Protimeter Aquant Moisture Meter is a non-invasive moisture measurement instrument that can produce an electrical signal that penetrates up to 20mm into porous building materials such as wood, tiles and vinyl. It has a relative moisture measurement range of 60 to 1000.

One of the advantages of the Protimeter Aquant is that the pinless measurement is not affected by surface moisture leading to greater accuracy. Readings are shown on the screen and the meter also has a set of LEDs that glow red, yellow, or green depending on the status of the material in question.

Protimeter Hygromaster 2 Thermohygrometer

The Protimeter Hygromaster 2 Temperature and Humidity Meter can measure surface temperature (-20˚C to 80˚C), air temperature (0˚C to 50˚C) and relative humidity (1 to 100%). Infrared non-contact temperature measurement makes it very quick and practical to use and humidity can be expressed as relative humidity and equilibrium relative humidity.

Onboard software allows the Protimeter Hygromaster 2 to calculate a variety of useful psychometric values, most notably dew point. The instrument is operated through a range of useful intuitive menus which are shown alongside readings on the vibrant colour display. Up to 8000 time-and-date-stamped readings can be saved to the hygrometer’s internal memory.
