The Radiodetection RD7200 Cable and Pipe Locator is a versatile, high-quality member of the Radiodetection RD range, all of which provide fast, precise and repeatable measurements. Advanced Performance

The state of the art Digital Signal Processing technology built into the RD7200 locator enables technicians to detect & react to weak signals produced by any difficult to locate utilities. This sensitive and accurate signal processing creates reliable results both quickly and consistently. Advanced features within the locator serve to bolster it's functionality, for example the on-screen TruDepth and current readout provide the user with extra assurance of errorless operation. TruDepth offers precise depth and current measurements but only when the RD7200 is correctly positioned above the target. This measurement consistently ensures the operator that the correct line is being followed.

Peak+ Mode adds the benefits of Guidance and Null locating to the RD7200 Cable and Pipe Locator. Where Guidance gets you to the peak position quicker by using proportional arrows and a directional indicator, Null allows you to check for any distortion created by other utilities, spurs or interference. The included Sonde Mode is for locating non-conductive cables ducts, pipes or conduits at depths up to 15m (50") deep. With 7 active and 4 sonde frequencies, 3 passive modes, power filters and more the RD7200 is a true multi-industry tool.

Boasting utility specific frequencies and multi-function features, the Radiodetection RD7200 is an ideal instrument for a vast array of industries.

Construction - The rugged casing and high contrast screen are more than capable of standing up to the harshest on-site weather conditions, while the eight active and three passive frequencies included will cover the vast majority of site locating tasks.

Power - Whilst Power Filters can be used to trace a single target line amongst multiple cables, the built-in Dynamic Overload Protection reduces the effects of interference.

Telecom - The higher frequencies of the RD7200 can be used to locate high impedance lines and sonde frequencies, ideal for duct and conduit tracing. Higher frequencies are available for tracing sheathed domestic cables without grounding connections. Any cable sheath faults can be tracked down to within 10cm (4") by utilising 8kHzFault Find mode with a Radiodetection A-Frame.

Water and Pipeline - The four sonde frequencies are exceptional at quickly locating and tracing pipes made from a variety of materials such as cast iron, clay, fibre, concrete and brick, these pipes can be traced over extremely long distances. Any pipes featuring Cathodic Protection System can be followed using the CPS passive mode, with the CPS compass mode guaranteeing alignment with the target pipeline.

RD7200 locators feature transflective low power LCD technology that use the ambient light to improve screen readability in direct sun light and even extend battery life. Compass orientation and a high visibility reflective design helps protect both operators and equipment, with the IP65 rated casing shock resistant and protected agains dust or water ingress. The waterproof speaker housing provides optimum resonance for high or low frequency tone and five levels of sound designed to be heard even in noisy environments. Five custom manufactured, precision ground antennas deliver accuracy and repeatability with the Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery pack offering extended runtime with reduced running costs.
