FLIR SV87-Kit Remote Vibration Monitoring Solution
The FLIR SV87-Kit Remote Vibration Monitoring Solution allows for wireless monitoring within a 65m range, with data logging of temperature and vibration readings for a wide range of industrial equipment that use rotary machinery such as industrial pumps, fans, gearboxes and motors. The SV87 Kit includes a remote monitoring FLIR GW65 Gateway which stores data that can be transferred wirelessly in real time to a smart device or PC and four FLIR SV87 vibration and temperature Remote Sensors that boast a sensitivity range of ±32g and a frequency range of 10Hz to 1kHz.
The SV87 Kit records data samples every 90 seconds which can be stored and exported into CSV files. Data can be analysed in real-time using a smart device or PC, with data and trending charts viewed and reviewed. Mechanical failures can be predicted before they happen, thanks to the automated vibration analysis. Users of the SV87 Kit can reduce downtime and improve profitability by gaining knowledge about machinery operation and maintenance, without having to wait for a manual inspection. The SV87 Kit allows users to monitor remotely, with users receiving alerts or emails instantly when abnormal conditions are detected and user-defined vibration or temperature thresholds are exceeded. Remote monitoring provides further safety for the operator by minimising the exposure to difficult-to-access locations or dangerous environments.
The SV87 Kit captures temperature recordings within a range of -30ºC to 80ºC, with users able to view several data recordings on their mobile device or PC such as minimum, maximum, live, historical data and trending charts can all be viewed in real-time. The Flir GW65 has 32MB internal data storage, which will allow approximately 5 days of data backup for four sensors in case of any Wi-Fi outage. The GW65 receives temperature and vibration data via Bluetooth from the sensors and sends data to a PC or mobile device via Wi-Fi.
The SV87 has a battery life of four years reducing the need to change the sensor battery frequently and limiting the contact with machinery. The Gateway has an IP40 rating whilst the Sensor is IP67 rated protecting the sensor from dust and water whilst also drop tested to 1m. The SV87 includes LED indicators to show the user the power, sensor alarm and Wi-Fi status.
