Martindale HPAT400 Kit B

Martindale HPAT400 PAT Test Kit B is based around the Martindale HPAT400 PAC Checker, a useful instrument for those with low volume testing commitments in offices, residential settings and environments where power tools are used.

The Martindale HPAT400 has a 200mA earth bond test, 500V insulation resistance test, leakage current test and polarity check. These tests are initiated in automatic test sequences for Class I appliances, Class II appliances and power leads. All the user needs to do is correctly identify the appliance and then connect the tester.

As a PAC checker, readings are not given for each test and instead PASS/FAIL limits are given for each test according to pre-set limits saved within the Martindale HPAT400. An overall result for the test is also provided on screen but does mean that the tester is unsuitable for long extension leads.

Martindale HPAT400 Kit B contains a set of 110V adaptors for industrial appliances and leads, typically power tools; extension lead and IEC adaptors, a PAT register book, a PAT certificate pad, and a socket tester. Full contents are listed below.
