    Martindale TB118 Gas Engineer’s Electrical Test Kit

    The Martindale TB118 Gas Engineer’s Electrical Test Kit comprises all of the electrical test instruments required to comply with Technical Bulletin TB118, but more importantly compliance with statutory health and safety regulations including the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 (HSWA) and the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 (EWR).

    A complete solution, the kit contains the following components:

    Martindale VIPD138 Safe Isolation Kit

    A kit containing a Martindale VI13800 capable of testing for AC/DC voltages from 50V to 600V in a range of different sockets and conductors, thus complying with Electricity Council guidance. The tester conforms to BS EN61243-3:2010 and indicates nominal voltage level in addition to warning of voltage presence.

    A PD440 proving unit is included in order to verify the performance of the tester before and after every use, as recommended in all safe isolation procedures, and a special carry case is provided for both instruments.

    Martindale EZ650 Loop Testing Kit

    Loop impedance testing is one of the most important electrical tests as it determines whether a circuit is safe in the event of a fault. This kit comes in a convenient carry case and features a EZ150 socket tester in special multipurpose housing with an IEC socket.

    Adaptors to crocodile clips, a test probes, and a three-pin plug are provided which allows it to perform a polarity and earth test on mains plugs, 1-with-3-way flying leads, or bare wires.

    Martindale LOKFS1 Fused Spur Locking Out Device

    This universal locking out device can fit around a wide range of fused spur outlets and is easy to apply and remove as required. It has space for flex outlets and forms part of a safe isolation procedure.

    Martindale PAD10R Padlock

    A secure padlock with a unique key that is compatible with the Martindale LOKFS1 as well as safe isolation hasps when working in a team of electricians. It cannot be removed by accident, thus preventing interference from passers by.

    Isolated Warning Sign

    One of the most important parts of the safe isolation procedure is to warn passers by that an electrical circuit is locked off as electricians are at work. This sign makes sure that everyone knows not to re-energise the circuit.
