The Megger DPM1000 Power Clamp Meter is a 3-in-1 compact instrument, combining the functionality of a power meter with a harmonics meter and data logger in one handheld ergonomic unit. Easy to use, simply clamp the jaws around an appropriate conductor and measure AC, DC, pulsed & mixed currents up to 1000 A. Alternatively, voltages of up to 1000 V AC or DC can be measured through the supplied test leads. With both power measurements capable of being performed simultaneously, the DPM1000 is ideal for measuring mains power quality or for applications in the installation, maintenance and development of power electronics/engineering sectors.

Including True RMS and Watt measurement to 1MW, the DPM1000 Power Clamp Meter boasts a diverse suite of functions. These include frequency, capacitance and power factor measurement features, in addition to a diode test and resistance test up to 100kΩ. Data hold, Min/Max and peak hold options are available and temperature measurements can be made up to 1000˚C using the thermocouple provided. With built-in harmonic measurement and distortion capabilities, users can analyse the harmonic content of a signal up to the 25th harmonic. This Megger clamp meter offers engineers even further measurement tools by incorporating auto-ranging and a single or three phase rotation indicator

Record a maximum of 9999 readings or records to the non-volatile internal memory of the Megger DPM1000 Power Clamp Meter. The data logging record rate is user-set between 1 to 600 seconds, with the accuracy of the timer being within 3 seconds per hour. This data can be downloaded to produce professional graphs and reports via the free Megger Link app. Available for both iOS and Android, the DPM1000 uses low-power Bluetooth v4.0 wireless technology to connect and transfer real time information to the app in a range of approximately 10m.

The large auto-backlit LCD screen of the Megger DPM1000 is activated with a button press or by rotating the selection dial. With an internal torch which lights during clamp operation, this Power Clamp Meter also features an audible continuity beeper & an automatic non-contact voltage detector for identification of live circuits. Automatically switching off to save battery consumption after 15 minutes, the hard-wearing design is rated CATIV 600V and CATIII 1000V. This clamp is supplied with test leads, a thermocouple probe and a full sized carry case.
