Megger EVCC300 Electric Vehicle Charger Checker

The Megger EVCC300 Electric Vehicle Charger Checker is cutting edge technology in the field of electric vehicle (EV) test and measurement. An all in one solution, the EVCC300 offers users a tool capable of performing all of their installation, health, safety and post-repair EV charging point checks. The EVCC300 is compatible with mode 2 and single phase mode 3 chargers and possesses an extensive range of safety and operational testing functionalities, ensuring that the charger in question is working safely and effectively before use.

The body of the unit is ergonomic in design, with a front-facing male connector and 320x240 TFT screen to the rear, surrounded by 4 tactile softkey buttons and a touch pad. To perform testing, the instrument can be plugged directly into the charger outlet via a type 2 connector, or into type 1 outlets via the included adapter.

The device features 4 safety checks to ensure user protection at the charge point: ground connection and hazardous voltages test, PE resistance check, touch voltage test and RCD/GFCI tripping speed test. In addition to checking RCD/GFCI tripping speed for user protection, the device can also test RCD/GFCI for potential nuisance tripping by generating increased earth leak current until tripping occurs, ensuring trip value is as expected. Operational check functionality includes proximity checking and latching detection, control pilot operation and signal checking and EV output voltage checking.

If you’re looking for a compact and dedicated product for conducting checks on EV charge point testing, the EVCC300 may be the perfect tool for you.
