The Seek Scan Body Temperature Screening Thermal Camera offers advanced body temperature analysis in one compact, versatile package. Designed to be efficient without being intrusive and capable of being deployed in a vast array of working environments. Including a fixed heat source for thermal reference, this non-contact, non-invasive system operates without unnecessarily risking user contamination by employing a strict safety distance between subject and camera. The swift capture and detection process ensures minimal impact on the flow of foot traffic, keeping the effect on daily life to a minimum.

Featuring both a thermal and visible camera, the Seek Scan captures both images simultaneously. The thermal sensor boasts a resolution of 206 x 156 pixels, while the visible light camera utilises an impressive resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels. Temperature readings are accurate to ±2˚C (±0.5˚F) and taken within a range of 36 to 40˚C (96 to 104˚F). A highly sensitive instrument, the Seek Scan features a thermal sensitivity of 40mK and is programmed to measure the most reliable parts of the face.

Clear visual alerts are front and centre of the Seek Scan Body Temperature Screening Thermal Camera, incorporating a user-friendly colour coded structure. The camera will automatically detect a face within the frame, creating a BLUE border. This image will then be compared against the customisable alarm temperature (available in both Celsius & Fahrenheit), before presenting one of two colours. Should the temperature be under the alarm a GREEN border will appear, however if an abnormal body temperature is detected the same border will be bright RED.

Fixed heat source

One of the most useful features included with the Seek Scan is the compact device exuding a stable temperature which all other readings can be analysed against. This constant temperature provides a reference point ensuring test accuracy and aiding the system in disregarding other changing ambient temperatures. Extremely lightweight, the heat source is designed to be placed beside the body currently being scanned and facilitates results substantially more accurate than most other thermal cameras.

Ideal for a variety of environments

Avoid needless set-up complications such as excessive training or complicated additional equipment with the Seek Scan's simple and swift installation. Place the camera and fixed heat source on two tripods set to 1.5m (5ft) high and 1.5m (5ft) apart. Install the Seek Scan software onto a nearby Windows PC from the included USB stick before attaching the camera via a simple USB-A cable (tripods and Windows PC not included). Once the heat source is plugged into a wall socket, the system is set and ready to be put into action.
