Testo 176-P1 Pressure, Temperature and Humidity Data Logger

The Testo 176-P1 Pressure, Temperature and Humidity Data Logger is a comprehensive environmental monitor. It has an internal pressure sensor which measures absolute pressure from 600 to 1100mbar with ±3mbar accuracy whilst temperature and humidity are measured via external probes. An NTC probe can measure air temperature between -20˚C to 70˚C and a humidity sensor can measure between 0 and 100% RH but these probes are not included as standard with the monitor. The measurement capabilities make the Testo 176-P1 ideal for monitoring environmental conditions where they are vital.

Current readings for temperature, pressure and humidity are shown on the Testo 176-P1’s large digital display so the user can get a quick overview of conditions at a glance. The measurement rate can be set to update at different rates between once a second and once a day and up to 2 million readings can be saved to the large internal memory. Readings can be downloaded to a PC using a USB cable or an SD card although these are not included as standard. A free Testo ComSoft software package can be used to analyse and report findings from a PC.

The lithium battery has an eight-year life so the Testo 176-P1 can operate independently once installed. The IP54 ingress protection rating means it is resistant to corrosion and a lock is provided so data cannot be accessed by unauthorised individuals. Other accessories include a wall bracket and calibration protocol.
